Responsibilities
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, application and database design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Build scalable, secure, AI-infused and agentic enterprise applications, including Copilot-powered features.
- Design and implement reliable application components and services aligned with architectural, security, and business requirements.
- Establish best practices for coding, automated testing, documentation, performance, and service reliability.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, diagnostics, automated recovery, incident mitigation, root cause analysis, and platform improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, stakeholders, and business partners through code reviews, planning, and technical discussions.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and technical innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- U.S. citizenship verification with a valid passport is required because of citizenship-based legal restrictions involving government customers.
- Ability to pass Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: 3+ years delivering applications with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce, Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, APEX, PowerFX, and component design.
- Preferred: 3+ years building commercial software and successfully shipping software products and services.
- Preferred: 3+ years applying cloud development principles, loosely coupled architectures, microservices, and DevOps models.
- Experience with C#, .NET, REST APIs, React, JavaScript or TypeScript, and equivalent technologies or frameworks.
- Experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot CLI/SDK, Claude CLI, or equivalents, including building agents, plugins, skills, and MCP servers.
- Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, DevOps tooling, and Azure infrastructure.
- Experience influencing and collaborating across cross-group and matrixed teams.
Benefits
- Typical U.S. base pay range is USD $102,100–$202,200 per year; the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range is USD $133,800–$219,200 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position will remain open for at least 5 days and accepts applications on an ongoing basis until filled.
