Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain components and services for Amazon Leo’s customer eCommerce platform.
- Own technical vision, architecture, roadmap contributions, risk mitigation, and long-term system development.
- Develop customer lifecycle capabilities including identity, accounts, subscribers, provisioning, billing, payments, offers, support tools, and analytics.
- Collaborate with Software, Product, User Experience, and QA teams on product direction.
- Own and operate software services while maintaining high standards of scalability, availability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Solve complex problems using analytical and data-driven approaches.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 2 years of full-stack development experience.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of Android development experience.
- Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to export-control requirements.
