Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud applications and services supporting flight software releases.
- Build dashboards for in-orbit satellite telemetry and services for tracking and managing software releases.
- Develop scalable cloud applications, backend services, and user interfaces that work across devices and browsers.
- Partner with satellite, networking, and other engineering teams.
- Use generative AI tools and agentic development workflows and identify infrastructure improvements using AWS-native services.
- Participate in code reviews, coach teammates, and promote maintainable coding and UI practices.
- Write software documentation and train new team members on how systems are built, tested, and operated.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and full software development lifecycle best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
