Responsibilities

Translate requirements for blockchain-powered products into architected software solutions and select appropriate development platforms.
Lead offshore development teams and mentor or supervise blockchain engineers and developers.
Develop prototypes, MVP requirements, and production offerings in collaboration with domain experts, engineers, blockchain specialists, and solution-development leadership.
Support account and engagement teams through client meetings, technical alignment, sales collateral, and enablement of charter opportunities.
Coach feature teams on Agile/Scrum practices, self-organization, impediment removal, continuous improvement, conflict resolution, and product-backlog management.
Produce management reports covering release forecasting, skill gaps, engineering practices, and feature-team operations.
Assess client needs, analyze complex business problems, and recommend appropriate technical and business changes.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or a demonstrated track record in software development.
At least 5 years of experience in software development or systems architecture.
Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency.
Experience with Agile techniques including user personas, user stories, test-driven development, continuous integration, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing, and Agile games.
Experience with multiple programming languages and technology architectures.
Experience with open-source development, including Linux or Apache Web Server.
Basic understanding of encryption fundamentals and experience with software architecture design and development.
Proven software-development capability on technically complex client projects and ability to lead teams of scientists, developers, and business analysts.
Ability to communicate technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences, exercise judgment, take initiative, and work independently or in small teams.
Preferred experience with blockchain technology, encryption, or distributed peer-to-peer systems, plus enthusiasm for learning emerging technologies.
