Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex end-to-end automation workflows using Pega or similar DPA/BPM platforms.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize system performance, and improve workflow reliability and scalability.
- Design and maintain secure REST/SOAP integrations with internal and external data sources.
- Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements.
- Collaborate in Scrum or Kanban squads by refining technical stories, estimating work, and participating in delivery ceremonies.
- Build solutions that comply with Roche’s security and data privacy standards.
- Participate in peer code reviews, technical knowledge sharing, and technical mentoring.
- Create and maintain low-level designs, technical architecture documentation, and deployment guides.
Requirements
- Approximately five years of professional software engineering experience, including at least three years focused on DPA or BPM platforms.
- Mandatory Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification or equivalent expertise with Appian or Camunda.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of web services, microservices architecture, and JSON/XML data structures.
- Experience delivering medium-to-large-scale technical initiatives in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and automated testing frameworks relevant to DPA platforms.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate in global, distributed teams.
