Responsibilities
- Analyze use cases and stakeholder needs in cooperation with the system engineering team.
- Define software designs, evaluate architectural solutions, and select appropriate approaches.
- Define and implement software and GUI solutions supporting mission data production and verification workflows.
- Design and implement mission data preparation and verification solutions using Eclipse RCP, OSGi, and Java.
- Prepare and execute software tests for software verification and validation.
- Integrate activities into the software development lifecycle and develop according to the Software Development Plan and applicable standards.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
- Software architecture experience with object-oriented analysis and design using UML.
- Programming skills in Java, C, and Python.
- Experience implementing desktop application GUIs with EMF and SWT.
- Knowledge of development environments and tools including Eclipse IDE, Git, Maven, and SonarQube.
- Knowledge of data model design and relational databases such as Oracle.
- Experience in electronic warfare and defensive aids systems is an asset.
- Strong communication, proactive working style, and ability to work in a team.
- Familiarity with agile software development processes and methods.
- Fluent English; German knowledge is an advantage.
