Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
- Architect and build scalable cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure using services including AKS, App Service, Azure SQL, and Service Bus.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical decisions, implementation practices, and cross-functional technical coordination.
- Mentor and coach developers through code reviews, pair programming, and ongoing technical leadership.
- Promote software quality through automated testing, observability, TDD, documentation, and engineering standards.
- Drive DevOps adoption, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Support production systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve reliability and performance.
- Manage delivery priorities, architectural health, technical debt, hiring contributions, and talent development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership, lead developer, or mentorship capacity.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with relational databases including SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployment strategies.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, application security, performance optimization, automated testing, and observability.
- Demonstrated success mentoring engineers, leading architecture discussions, evaluating technical trade-offs, and coordinating across multiple teams.
- Strong Agile delivery experience, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders and a pragmatic, outcome-focused approach.
