Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
  • Architect and build cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure using AKS, App Service, Azure SQL, and Service Bus.
  • Guide architecture reviews, technical decisions, implementation practices, and cross-team technical coordination.
  • Mentor and coach developers through code reviews, pair programming, and ongoing technical leadership.
  • Promote automated testing, observability, code quality, documentation, and operational excellence.
  • Drive DevOps adoption, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Support production systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve reliability and performance.
  • Balance delivery priorities with architectural health and technical debt management.
  • Contribute to hiring and talent development efforts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical leadership, lead development, or mentorship.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployment strategies.
  • Understanding of software design principles, application security, performance optimization, testing, and operational excellence.
  • Experience mentoring engineers, leading architecture discussions, evaluating technical trade-offs, and coordinating cross-functional dependencies.
  • Strong Agile delivery experience, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic, outcome-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement, quality-first engineering, TDD, automation, collaboration, and customer-centric thinking.
