Responsibilities

Own the architectural vision, design governance, and integration strategy for the enterprise Planning & Merchandising platform.
Provide technical leadership and design guidance to development teams and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
Create proofs of concept and support teams integrating novel solutions.
Design, document, and maintain comprehensive solution architectures, diagrams, specifications, and technical standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, business planning and merchandising stakeholders, and implementation partners.
Drive architecture, software engineering, and knowledge-management best practices across the organization.
Identify and mitigate architectural risks and technical debt.
Ensure designs satisfy performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering or another technical area.
5+ years of experience working in ecommerce.
3 years of architecture experience.
Knowledge of architectural governance processes, frameworks, and best practices.
Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies.
Strong understanding of cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity principles.
Ability to design and document comprehensive solution architectures.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Ability to understand business-domain and technical implications and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
