Base Salary
$160k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and deploy object detection and segmentation models for manufacturing applications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build and maintain annotation tooling and implement active learning loops.
- Develop evaluation frameworks to quantify system behavior and user impact beyond standard metrics.
- Set technical and product roadmaps for the AI platform in collaboration with the machine learning team.
- Focus on improving model accuracy to save significant time in manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in building and shipping computer vision models, especially in detection and segmentation.
- Deep expertise in modern architectures using transformer backbones like ViT and Swin.
- Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch, with experience in writing custom training loops and data loaders.
- Experience in production deployment and model health management.
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
