Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple product groups on distributed systems design, cloud-layer interactions, infrastructure code, and dependencies at scale.
- Lead by example and mentor engineers to produce extensible, maintainable code used across products.
- Develop and evangelize technical insights and standards that improve system, platform, product development, and operations.
- Drive continuous improvements to architecture, code, features, operations, and end-to-end product scenarios.
- Improve product fundamentals and architecture while sharing knowledge and reusable code across teams.
- Provide technical leadership in test maturity reviews, static analysis reviews, on-call rotations, and incident responses.
- Resolve major incidents using deep business and technical expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Equivalent experience may substitute for the stated education and experience requirements.
- Preferred: master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding.
