Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test strategies for functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, test plans, test cases, and unit, API, and end-to-end test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and optimize test execution in cloud environments.
- Drive TDD, BDD, trunk-based development, continuous testing, shift-left testing, and other modern quality practices.
- Conduct code reviews focused on testability, security, and performance.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and implement security testing and vulnerability scanning practices.
- Enhance QA observability through real-time monitoring, logging, and reporting.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product teams, and DevOps teams to design scalable, testable, and resilient systems.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote continuous learning and a quality-first culture.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of experience in an IT Quality role.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Proficiency in building robust test frameworks and deep understanding of system design for scalable test automation.
- Expertise in TDD, BDD, test automation best practices, trunk-based development, and continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of code review practices, security testing, and vulnerability scanning.
- Experience with performance, load, and stress testing tools such as JMeter.
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments including AWS and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with contract testing using PACT in microservices environments.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for testing environments.
