Responsibilities
- Build the core billing engine to process high volumes of transactions accurately and reliably.
- Design modular, reusable billing primitives and abstractions that scale across products and regions.
- Integrate internal systems and external payment platforms.
- Automate billing workflows and schedules for companies of varying sizes.
- Ensure invoices are accurate, reliable, and easy for internal and external users to manage.
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations to maintain a unified platform experience.
- Ship scalable, reliable systems supporting Alan’s billing operations and expansion into new services and countries.
Requirements
- Engineers of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with scalable and resilient platform design.
- Proficiency with object-oriented languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Ability to navigate complex business logic and system dependencies.
- Fluent English is required; French is a plus but not required.
