Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions that enhance services and enable new business functions.
- Perform hands-on development and participate in architecture, design, and design-review discussions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across the firm to develop data feeds.
- Support and enhance applications for global users and evolving requirements.
- Analyze business workflows and convert business requirements into technical specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- At least two years of application development engineering experience.
- Professional programming and software development experience in Java.
- Experience building transactional systems and a strong understanding of software architecture.
- Front-end web-stack development experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred experience with REST-based web services, microservice architecture, React, Angular, Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, Hazelcast, GitLab, Kubernetes, PL/SQL, financial institutions, test-driven development, and asynchronous event-based processing.
