Responsibilities
- Create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement, and validate applications throughout the software development life cycle.
- Analyze existing applications and formulate logic, procedures, flowcharts, code, and debugging approaches for new applications.
- Design and work with databases using DDL and DML across supported database platforms.
- Develop and maintain backend, frontend, and web application technologies.
- Maintain application and programming documentation and create application implementation plans.
- Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
- Work independently on significant and unique technical issues and may supervise the activities of others.
Requirements
- Broad expertise across software development, application architectures, operating systems, databases, backend technologies, frontend technologies, web frameworks, and development tools.
- Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Linux distributions, databases, Java, Python, .NET, Ruby, COBOL, Mainframe Assembler, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CICS, Node.js, React.js, Angular, Redux, and listed development tools.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, determine methods and procedures for new or special assignments, and coordinate across groups.
