Responsibilities
- Architect and develop the core Sand Table plugin using the Carbon extensibility framework.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and systems engineers to extend Sand Table's capabilities.
- Provide guidance and create robust APIs for the Carbon extensibility layer.
- Understand the engine's C++ architecture to identify extension points.
- Write clean, high-performance, and maintainable code.
- Diagnose and solve complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Professional experience in game engine development or real-time 3D simulation.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with performance-critical codebases.
- Solid experience with TypeScript for scripting or application development.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to write clean and extensible code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for ambiguous technical tasks.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
