Responsibilities
- Participate in the full application lifecycle, with a focus on coding and debugging.
- Build backend APIs and write front-end code across the product stack.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Prepare software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Debug applications and identify and fix errors.
- Implement modern technologies to improve legacy applications.
- Collect, analyze, and address technical and design requirements.
- Create reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Provide software systems support and consulting to operations teams and clients.
- Collaborate with customers, founders, team members, and the Board to understand pain points, prototype solutions, iterate, and deploy code.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Computer Software Engineer or Back-End Developer.
- Significant experience developing web applications with a popular web framework such as Flask or Django.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Understanding of the complete web development process and application lifecycle, including design, development, and deployment.
- Strong analytical and time management skills.
- Good teamwork skills and a problem-solving attitude.
