Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA professionals.
- Participate in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle from discovery to deployment.
- Develop robust new features and APIs while continuously improving existing products.
- Ensure top-tier products through quality engineering and customer-focused development.
- Build modern, resilient systems that power Deel’s financial infrastructure.
- Design and evolve APIs and services to support high-transaction volumes.
Requirements
- Professional experience in fintech or financial domains such as payments or banking.
- Experience working with systems for companies like Wise, PayPal, or Stripe.
- Familiarity with compliance-sensitive environments like KYC and AML.
- Strong proficiency in OOP best practices and at least one server-side language.
- Expertise in SQL, particularly with PostgreSQL, including query optimization.
- Experience in designing systems for scalability and high-volume performance.
- 4+ years as a backend or full-stack engineer.
