Responsibilities
- Own the complete product-story lifecycle from intake and requirements analysis through production release.
- Develop and maintain backend services for fee calculations, invoicing, payout orchestration, and settlement flows.
- Contribute to compliance and reporting systems covering periodic reviews, risk assessments, and transaction reporting.
- Perform technical analysis, implement scalable backend solutions, estimate effort, and resolve blockers.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Use AI as part of the engineering workflow while maintaining quality and sound technical judgment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of industry experience working with Java.
- Foundational understanding of cloud platforms; AWS experience is a plus.
- Interest in or experience with financial systems such as billing, invoicing, payouts, or settlement processes.
- Clear and professional communication skills and willingness to share knowledge with the team.
- Interest in FinTech is a plus.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Problem-solving ability, willingness to learn, collaboration, and ownership of work.
