Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines for reliable data delivery and model performance.
- Deploy and optimize machine learning models on gaming consoles and PCs under platform constraints.
- Deploy and optimize large language models for generative content and immersive in-game systems.
- Collaborate with game teams and stakeholders to develop and ship production-ready features.
- Promote machine learning best practices through presentations and interactive demonstrations.
- Research ML advancements and prototype new applications for the EA SPORTS FC franchise.
- Build resilient data architectures and maintain scalable infrastructure for machine learning initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional engineering experience.
- Experience deploying, fine-tuning, and using retrieval-augmented generation techniques with large language models.
- Strong programming fundamentals with proficiency in Python and C++ or Java.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Trino, and Apache Airflow for production data and model workflows.
- Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning applications in productized software.
- Experience deploying models on edge devices across the full machine learning lifecycle.
Benefits
- British Columbia base salary range of CAD 104,500–142,800, depending on location.
- Three weeks of vacation per year to start and 10 days of sick time per year.
