Responsibilities
- Lead the rollout of Go as a fully supported language at Notion.
- Establish reliable frameworks for running Go services at scale.
- Enhance developer experience by tackling engineering productivity bottlenecks.
- Create AI-enabled tooling to improve service architecture and reduce toil.
- Deliver a concrete 'Go platform v1' within the first 90 days.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Deep expertise in Go, including operating production Go services at scale.
- Proven track record of defining and owning a platform adopted by other teams.
- Strong systems judgment with the ability to make trade-offs explicit.
- Curiosity and willingness to address high-leverage developer experience problems.
- Business-oriented mindset with a focus on impactful projects.
