Base Salary
$160k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Commerce’s frontend layer end-to-end, from consuming service APIs to delivering polished user experiences.
- Break down complex product requirements into an iterative roadmap and execute implementations independently.
- Champion the customer experience by identifying product and UX gaps and turning issues into improvement opportunities.
- Build reusable, well-typed React components to expedite future Commerce work.
- Instrument and verify the success of features using data-driven metrics.
- Address edge cases and error states that are critical in commerce contexts.
Requirements
- 4+ years of frontend engineering experience with a focus on shipping production features.
- Strong React fundamentals, particularly in building complex, stateful UIs.
- Proficiency in TypeScript for designing clean typed interfaces.
- Strong observability habits, including monitoring and using data for improvements.
- Ability to translate complex product requirements into frontend implementations.
- Fluency in consuming APIs and building typed web app interfaces.
- Experience with Next.js, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui is a plus.
- Experience with billing, payments, or usage-based pricing UIs is a strong differentiator.
