Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end system features from user experience through backend and Azure infrastructure.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, collaborate with and manage the team, and make team-level decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key technical decisions.
- Provide solutions for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead system feature design and implementation in alignment with project and client requirements.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship.
- Coordinate cross-functional software integration and deployment efforts.
- Use approved AI assistants for Azure architecture design, infrastructure-as-code authoring, documentation, and test planning, with human validation of security, identity, networking, resilience, deployment risk, and cost.
- Architect Azure-hosted LLM services and retrieval-augmented generation solutions with secure access, identity controls, private networking, observability, and approval gates.
- Evaluate AI solution quality, latency, cost, prompt-injection resistance, and sensitive-data handling.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Architecture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Architecture.
- Experience with cloud service models, infrastructure as code, and scalable application design.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Ability to design secure, resilient, and high-performance cloud solutions.
- Experience automating deployment pipelines and continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
- Knowledge of capital markets and investment management, including securities, trading, portfolio management, and investment operations.
- Hands-on experience using approved AI assistants with context-rich prompting, generated-design review, and deployment validation.
- Ability to architect Azure-hosted LLM services, structured outputs, and retrieval-augmented generation with secure data access and human review.
- Familiarity with evaluating AI response quality, latency, cost, prompt-injection resistance, and sensitive-data handling.
- Completion of 15 years of full-time education.
