Responsibilities
- Support project architecture definition alongside technical leads.
- Pilot and monitor development activities while ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural recommendations.
- Independently conduct upstream R&D studies and architectural refactoring of existing projects.
- Contribute to technical responses for presales proposals.
- Conduct technology monitoring and produce proofs of concept.
- Develop complex software modules for backend Java or full-stack applications.
- Contribute to software quality through automated testing, code coverage, and Sonar.
- Work with microservices, event-driven, hexagonal, and modular architectures.
- Use AI-assisted development tools in daily engineering work.
Requirements
- Bac+5 degree from an engineering school or university, specialized in computer science, or equivalent significant experience.
- More than seven years of experience in Java/Spring Boot backend development with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ, or in a full-stack environment with Java and Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Strong command of Java, Kafka, and the Spring ecosystem.
- Experience building projects from scratch and working with microservices, hexagonal, or event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with Angular, React.js, or optionally Vue.js.
- Experience with relational databases, PostgreSQL, and SQL.
- Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, GCP, BigQuery, Bigtable, Azure, and Docker.
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture and software craftsmanship principles including SOLID and YAGNI.
- Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing using JUnit, Mockito, Karate, or Gatling.
- Proficiency with AI development assistants including GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and JetBrains AI Assistant.
- Knowledge of Agile methods, particularly Scrum, along with strong communication, autonomy, collaboration, critical thinking, and rigor.
