Responsibilities
- Take product ideas from scope through design, implementation, launch, and production ownership.
- Build and maintain large-scale distributed systems for multi-cloud networking with a focus on resiliency, scale, and correctness.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and microservices using Java/Spring, Go, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
- Operate shipped systems through customer escalations, on-call support, telemetry, bug fixes, and service maintenance.
- Use agentic workflows, LLM-powered development loops, and AI tooling in daily engineering work.
- Support multiple concurrent projects and collaborate across geographically distributed teams.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java/Spring, Go, distributed systems, API design, database schema design, and multithreading.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and experience taking software from zero to production.
- Linux/kernel fluency and comfort with container and Kubernetes deployment.
- Daily experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
- Understanding of security considerations for distributed, multi-tenant systems and strong product and customer empathy.
- Networking experience with BGP, SD-WAN, overlays, or cloud networking is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, multitask, and support concurrent projects.
