Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, architecture, and development of complex full-stack applications for the Onboarding Master Central platform.
- Develop high-performance, low-latency Java applications, scalable real-time microservices, RESTful APIs, and React front-end components.
- Design reusable components and services while following Citi’s coding, architectural, testing, and implementation standards.
- Guide and mentor developers, conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and support professional growth.
- Communicate technical concepts and project status to technical stakeholders, business users, and senior management.
- Ensure application reliability, scalability, performance, and adherence to architectural standards.
- Evaluate strategic initiatives through proofs of concept and transition successful concepts into production-grade solutions.
- Provide post-release support and contribute to system design, architectural decisions, testing, and continuous integration.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on Java development experience, including Spring, real-time messaging, and Java frameworks.
- Experience developing and maintaining highly scalable, real-time microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, and Redux.
- Experience with real-time messaging middleware such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace, or Tibco.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including Oracle and MongoDB.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, design patterns, object-oriented programming, architecture, algorithms, and software problem-solving.
- Experience with in-memory datastore or cache libraries such as Redis, Apache Ignite, or GemFire is preferred.
- Exposure to Kotlin, system performance tuning, low-latency Java programming, and multithreaded applications is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development, including unit and end-to-end testing, is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with strong communication, leadership, analytical, and teamwork skills.
