Responsibilities
- Design and operate distributed, event-driven systems for processing financial data.
- Build production-grade APIs and services in Python that support agentic workflows.
- Own data architecture, including schema design and storage layers.
- Develop resilient infrastructure primitives to enhance reliability.
- Create feedback loops between product data and AI models.
- Ship foundational platform components and internal frameworks.
- Collaborate with ML and product teams to implement research ideas.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend experience with Python at scale.
- Deep knowledge of SQL/NoSQL database design.
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with GCP services like Pub/Sub and BigQuery.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance best practices.
- Passion for building backend systems for intelligent products.
