Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions supporting the full claims lifecycle.
- Implement Gosu customizations across rules, entities, workflows, PCF screens, typelists, and extension logic.
- Build and maintain ClaimCenter integrations including messaging, REST/SOAP services, batch processes, claim ingestion, document management, financial and ERP systems, and external data providers.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications covering class structures, workflows, events, data mappings, and API behavior.
- Configure claims workflows for FNOL intake, triage, routing, assignments, activity plans, litigation, vendor management, and payment authorization.
- Ensure solutions follow Guidewire best practices, performance guidelines, coding standards, and multi-environment deployment architecture.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, technical grooming, story estimation, and other delivery activities.
- Perform code reviews, performance optimization, defect troubleshooting, production deployments, and environment stabilization.
- Contribute reusable components, mentor junior developers, and support engineering capability development.
- Coordinate with onsite teams and occasionally travel to customer locations once or twice per year.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience as a Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer with strong Gosu, ClaimCenter configuration, and integration development skills.
- Deep knowledge of insurance claims processes including FNOL, coverage verification, investigation, exposures, reserves, payments, subrogation, litigation, vendor management, and financial authority controls.
- Experience building ClaimCenter integrations involving messaging plugins, service APIs, claim ingestion, payment systems, document generation, and external data providers.
- Ability to convert functional requirements into maintainable technical designs, workflow logic, extension models, batch processes, and API implementations.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across ClaimCenter UI screens, rules, entity models, messaging, integrations, data, workflows, and batches.
- Experience with REST/SOAP services, messaging, web services, plugins, ESB or Azure Integration Services, JSON/XML, XSD, and WSDL.
- Knowledge of ClaimCenter data models and SQL for troubleshooting and validation.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools, and automated Guidewire module deployment.
- Comfort working in Agile delivery environments and participating in technical grooming, estimation, and code reviews.
- Excellent English communication skills for collaboration with business analysts, QA professionals, architects, and client stakeholders.
- Guidewire ClaimCenter certification is a strong asset.
