Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java applications and services using agentic software engineering practices.
- Design APIs, integrations, and distributed components for enterprise environments.
- Apply AI-assisted development practices across coding, testing, code review, documentation, and engineering productivity.
- Build or integrate LLM applications, AI agents, RAG, vector search, and enterprise AI services as project needs require.
- Design software for modern cloud environments using cloud services, containers, and production delivery practices.
- Lead technical implementations from PoC/MVP through production and collaborate with architects and engineering teams.
- Work with architecture, data/AI, and security teams to ensure quality, performance, maintainability, and security.
- Share knowledge through code reviews, mentoring, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Technical degree or equivalent professional experience with a strong software engineering foundation.
- Strong hands-on Java development experience, including its modern ecosystem such as Spring and Spring Boot.
- Understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, testing, and software engineering best practices.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of Generative AI and LLM-based solutions; experience with AI agents, RAG, vector search, LLM integration, or enterprise AI services is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP and experience developing software for cloud environments.
- Experience with CI/CD and modern development workflows; Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is preferred.
- Understanding of security, data protection, and software quality in enterprise applications.
- Fluent English at B2 level or above.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, or workshop experience is preferred.
