Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, maintain, and support business intelligence applications, reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
- Integrate front-end user interfaces with back-end services and APIs while handling transactions and errors.
- Build and optimize data movement, ETL/ELT, scheduling, data preparation, blending, validation, cleansing, and quality processes.
- Work across the reporting lifecycle from requirements capture and data extraction through modeling, visualization, and report production.
- Create Power BI visualization reports for KPIs using filters, parameters, and calculations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and improve capabilities through automation and process optimization.
- Provide technical and analytical expertise for specialized data analysis, data management, reporting, and decision-support requests.
Requirements
- MCA, M.Tech, B.Tech, or an equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with Power BI or data visualization.
- At least 1 year of experience with Java, .NET, or Angular.
- At least 2 years of experience in data engineering.
- Demonstrable proficiency in SQL and SSIS, ETL/ELT, data movement technologies, schedulers, and data quality practices.
- Experience working with Oracle databases, API services, external files or spreadsheets, and Snowflake for data preparation and blending.
- Knowledge of DAX in Power BI and proficiency in Snowflake are preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks with only occasional guidance, research, or mentorship and to identify solutions during prototyping and customer testing.
