Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites across UI, API, and backend layers.
- Execute automation-first testing practices and optimize regression test suites for reliable, efficient releases.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and quality engineers to understand requirements and identify quality risks.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, report defects, and support defect resolution.
- Own and evolve test framework architecture, including UI automation and API or messaging-service testing.
- Implement error reporting, failure analysis, and test-result assurance mechanisms.
- Use AI to improve test design, execution, code generation, coverage, maintenance, failure analysis, and root-cause analysis.
- Identify opportunities to advance AI-first quality engineering practices and testing productivity.
Requirements
- B.E., B.Tech., or MCA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area.
- 4+ years of software quality assurance experience in a financial services firm such as investment banking or asset management.
- Experience writing positive and negative manual tests and developing and executing test automation.
- Good exposure to testing methodologies, test plans, test strategies, requirements traceability matrices, test estimation, and UI testing.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages, including TypeScript, Java, C#, or Go.
- Experience with Playwright or Selenium is preferred.
- Exposure to nonfunctional testing such as performance, security, and chaos testing is favorable.
