Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable fulfillment, warehouse management, and order management systems for the e-commerce platform.
- Lead a small team of developers by providing technical direction, accountability, and mentorship.
- Own platform architecture, engineering quality standards, technical debt reduction, and end-to-end delivery outcomes.
- Design AI and agentic workflows and quality gates to improve engineering throughput, quality, reliability, and iteration speed.
- Provide clean API documentation, observability monitoring, and alerting for fulfillment system consumers.
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, and project management stakeholders to deliver projects.
- Represent the company’s core values through technical decisions and team interactions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience with a strong background in e-commerce fulfillment, order management, and warehouse management.
- Experience using AI tooling to accelerate software development.
- Deep expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns applied at enterprise scale.
- Expertise with relational databases, SQL, query optimization, NoSQL databases, and document-oriented databases.
- Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud platforms including GCP or AWS.
- Proven experience leading software development teams and delivering production-grade software.
- Preferred experience includes outdoor retail, multi-brand e-commerce, high-SKU retail, omni-channel fulfillment, and ERP systems such as NetSuite.
- Excellent English communication, stakeholder collaboration, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
