Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable test automation frameworks.
- Drive shift-left testing by integrating automated tests early in the SDLC.
- Optimize existing automation frameworks for faster execution and reliability.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across various testing layers.
- Establish best practices in test automation using modern tools.
- Review and enhance CI/CD pipelines to include automated testing.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior SDET team members.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test plans.
- Drive defect triage and resolution processes.
- Advocate for quality-first development practices across teams.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in software development, testing, and automation.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium and Cypress.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with containerized environments like Docker.
- Experience in testing microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Exposure to performance and security testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
