Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to execute pre-sales activities including opportunity qualification and demonstrations.
- Lead the technical and product sale, recommending best-practice solutions for customers.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor by understanding customer technical pains and designing innovative solutions.
- Build and present engaging customer product demonstrations showcasing Twilio’s capabilities.
- Take initiative to identify and solve problems for customers and within the organization.
- Contribute to the Solutions Engineering community through knowledge sharing and creating demonstration materials.
Requirements
- 5+ years of pre-sales experience selling complex technical products or 6+ years supporting technical products with customer-facing experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to gain audience confidence.
- Ability to communicate complex topics effectively to various audience levels.
- Deep understanding of customer communications needs to guide them to technical solutions.
- Previous software development experience or knowledge in backend and web development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
