Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to execute pre-sales activities including opportunity qualification and demonstrations.
  • Lead the technical and product sale, recommending best-practice solutions for customers.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor by understanding customer technical pains and designing innovative solutions.
  • Build and present engaging customer product demonstrations showcasing Twilio’s capabilities.
  • Take initiative to identify and solve problems for customers and within the organization.
  • Contribute to the Solutions Engineering community through knowledge sharing and creating demonstration materials.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of pre-sales experience selling complex technical products or 6+ years supporting technical products with customer-facing experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to gain audience confidence.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics effectively to various audience levels.
  • Deep understanding of customer communications needs to guide them to technical solutions.
  • Previous software development experience or knowledge in backend and web development.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
