Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable integrations with flight and baggage providers while ensuring performance and availability.
- Design and evolve robust APIs supporting efficient and maintainable flight-search flows.
- Participate in architecture decisions focused on scalability and business growth.
- Own features end to end, including design, deployment, production monitoring, and support.
- Identify and resolve issues collaboratively with product teams, travel partners, and other stakeholders.
- Improve team code quality through code reviews and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience developing scalable backend solutions with end-to-end autonomy.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Experience with relational databases, particularly MariaDB.
- Ability to design simple, traceable, and maintainable solutions.
- Experience with high-volume, high-concurrency applications.
- Collaborative ownership, proactivity, and continuous-learning mindset.
- Experience working with AI tools.
- Preferred experience with New Relic and Kibana monitoring tools.
- Preferred knowledge of Scala and Kotlin.
- Preferred knowledge of Cassandra, MongoDB, and Redis.
