Base Salary
$165k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic systems partner to Data Center Operations, Infrastructure, and Facilities teams.
- Own and evolve integrations across various operational platforms.
- Build and maintain API-driven integrations and event pipelines.
- Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for operational systems.
- Design and implement full-stack observability with real-time dashboards.
- Develop internal tools and automation frameworks to enhance platform capabilities.
- Build unified dashboards for data center health and asset tracking.
- Design, operate, and scale Kubernetes clusters for operational workloads.
- Implement infrastructure security best practices in collaboration with Security and Compliance.
- Own infrastructure-as-code for system configuration and environments.
- Partner with data engineering teams to design and harden data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across all integrated systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with DCIM, CMMS, BMS, or SCADA platforms.
- Strong software engineering skills with experience in building APIs and applications.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with Jira automation and workflow orchestration.
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure and communication protocols.
- Experience using NetBox or similar systems for asset inventory.
- Strong collaboration skills across various departments.
- Understanding of asset lifecycle workflows from construction to operations.
- Exposure to audit, compliance, and infrastructure traceability requirements.
- Experience supporting global or multi-site data center environments.
