Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications for Capital Markets platforms and business functions.
- Customize and configure Murex workflows, datamarts, interfaces, reporting solutions, and integrations.
- Develop and support real-time and batch integrations between Murex and upstream or downstream systems.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, architects, and technology teams.
- Optimize application and database performance through design and query-tuning strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and development delivery processes.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Identify and implement AI-enabled automation opportunities across development and operational processes.
- Contribute to technical discussions and best practices involving architecture, integration, and system scalability.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Java development experience, including object-oriented design, multithreading, collections, performance optimization, and enterprise application development.
- Extensive experience working with Murex across one or more functional areas, including Front Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Back Office, Collateral Management, Regulatory Reporting, or Integration.
- Experience customizing and configuring Murex workflows, datamarts, interfaces, reporting, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets products, including FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Derivatives, and structured products.
- Experience designing and developing real-time and batch integrations between Murex and external systems.
- Proficiency with SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience tuning and optimizing complex database queries.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, code reviews, and software delivery practices.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, or similar platforms.
- Ability to implement AI-driven automation across software development, testing, code quality, and operational processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred: experience with cloud technologies, cloud-native application development, Docker, Kubernetes, large-scale financial systems, and enterprise integration environments.
- Intermediate or Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
