Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, coding, testing, and debugging of software components and systems.
- Develop tools and applications supporting robotics and aerospace platforms.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers to integrate and test capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, version control, and defect tracking.
- Develop scripts and automation to improve team workflows.
- Support prototypes, simulations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
- Attend team meetings, contribute ideas, and learn to estimate development effort and timelines.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Have foundational knowledge of Python, C++, or Java.
- Be familiar with Visual Studio, Git, Eclipse, or similar development tools.
- Understand data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Demonstrate problem-solving, analytical, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Linux, Windows, or cross-platform development environments; exposure to web technologies, cloud platforms, or backend services; interest in robotics, autonomous systems, or data analytics; and experience with Bash or Python scripting.
- Applicants must meet ITAR/EAR requirements for U.S. person status, with some positions requiring current U.S. citizenship.
