Base Salary
$169k - $211k/yr
Responsibilities
- Secure cloud-based environments by designing and implementing native security solutions.
- Drive Continuous RMF practices, automating control implementation and reporting.
- Automate provisioning and configuration of IT environments.
- Implement and manage security measures like firewalls and vulnerability scanning.
- Secure containerized and large-scale cloud production systems.
- Establish and manage identity and access management policies.
- Create and maintain engineering artifacts such as network diagrams.
- Enforce cloud-native security best practices.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate Zero Trust principles.
- Apply and operationalize RMF, FedRAMP, and DISA CC SRG controls.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices.
- Champion AI-augmented ways of working across engagements.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in cloud/platform operations or related roles.
- Experience securing CI/CD pipelines using various tools.
- Strong proficiency in securing AWS GovCloud and Azure GCC High environments.
- Expertise in container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes.
- Proven experience in incident management and troubleshooting.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Subject Matter Expertise in Linux Operating Systems administration.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate security risks.
- A proactive mindset for skill growth and tackling complex security tasks.
- A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
