Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives and sales teams to understand customer priorities, identify opportunities, and shape technical strategies.
- Advise customers and partners on data center networking, compute, storage, and AI infrastructure.
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, architecture discussions, demonstrations, presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts.
- Translate customer business and technical requirements into scalable Cisco solutions and develop end-to-end architectures.
- Contribute technical insights to account planning, opportunity development, cross-sell, up-sell, and competitive strategies.
- Collaborate with portfolio teams, technical specialists, partners, and sales stakeholders to drive customer outcomes.
- Support partner engagements, enablement sessions, industry events, and international customer engagements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of technical presales, solutions engineering, or relevant hands-on infrastructure experience involving data center networking, compute, storage, and their integration.
- Deep knowledge and practical experience with switching and routing technologies including Spanning Tree, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS, and network segmentation.
- Understanding of data center networking design fundamentals, including traditional 3-tier architecture, VXLAN EVPN, Software Defined Network, and Data Center Interconnect.
- Understanding of data center network security, including multi-tenancy, north-south/east-west firewall design, and microsegmentation.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to deliver demos, proof-of-concepts, and workshops to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience with Cisco Nexus/ACI, UCS, Intersight, HyperFabric, or comparable platforms.
- Preferred familiarity with GPU compute, RoCE/InfiniBand, AI/ML reference architectures such as Cisco plus NVIDIA, and storage for AI workloads.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE Data Center, VMware VCP, CKA/CKAD, or major cloud associate/professional certifications are preferred.
