Responsibilities
- Build backend infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale.
- Develop distributed systems, service architecture, monitoring, workflow orchestration, and developer-experience solutions.
- Deliver reliable, high-performance services and client libraries for storing and accessing data on cloud storage backends such as AWS S3 and Azure Blob Store.
- Build scalable services using technologies such as Scala and Kubernetes.
- Develop Spark and Databricks data pipelines and product features for platform-usage and pricing infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of production-level experience with Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
