Responsibilities
- Own and develop the core robotics software stack for industrial robotic work cells.
- Develop and optimize motion planning, trajectory generation, and control for industrial robot arms.
- Integrate cameras, force and torque sensors, and other perception systems into real-time control loops.
- Implement industrial safety concepts and fail-safe behaviors.
- Lead on-site testing, calibration, and commissioning of robotic systems.
- Guide architecture decisions and establish sound engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of robotics engineering experience working with real robot hardware.
- Strong foundations in kinematics, motion planning, and control theory, with hands-on production deployment experience.
- Experience with industrial or collaborative robot arms, end-of-arm tooling, and associated sensors.
- Experience integrating vision and force or torque sensors into real-time robot-control loops.
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
- Experience with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
- Fluent English is required; German is a plus.
- Experience with surface finishing, welding, coating, machine vision, 3D perception, EtherCAT, or OPC-UA is beneficial.
