Responsibilities
- Translate Product Management and Marketing feature requirements into test documentation, test cases, and system test scenarios.
- Estimate testing effort and define testing strategies, plans, and execution tracking.
- Execute testing for major features and monitor minor releases, patches, and hotfixes.
- Develop automated test scripts and enhance automation frameworks using scripting languages and automation harnesses.
- Integrate AI tools into regression debugging, test-case generation, test-script automation, and QA framework development.
- Perform root cause analysis, debug complex issues, and create detailed bug reports with reproduction steps and logs.
- Configure and troubleshoot Keysight and non-Keysight equipment independently.
- Provide technical supervision and guidance to other QA Engineers.
- Support customer escalations and collaborate with QA, Development, and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in team meetings and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software QA or test automation.
- Strong scripting skills, such as Python, and experience with automation frameworks.
- Understanding of software QA practices, the software development life cycle, and source code management tools such as Git.
- Experience configuring and debugging Keysight and non-Keysight equipment independently.
- Ability to work on moderately complex assignments with minimal supervision.
- Preferred: experience with Keysight or Ixia products and technologies, networking protocols and systems, Jenkins, Docker, compilers, debuggers, development tools, AI tools, Agile environments, and mentoring or supervising QA engineers.
