Responsibilities
- Author, maintain, and version Terraform infrastructure-as-code modules for GCP and AWS services
- Deploy and maintain networking topology, VPCs, DNS, IAM primitives, secure base images, container standards, compute instances, and GKE/EKS clusters
- Maintain metrics pipelines, log storage, alerting, and infrastructure observability standards
- Conduct stress testing, capacity planning, drift detection and remediation, and toil-reduction automation
- Participate in infrastructure on-call, incident response, post-mortems, vulnerability remediation, security patching, patch compliance, and quarterly access reviews
- Identify cloud rightsizing and reserved-instance opportunities and flag regional spend anomalies
- Execute the infrastructure technical roadmap and deliver standard environments within two working days
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, SRE, or platform operations
- Hands-on experience operating infrastructure at scale in GCP and AWS, with GCP preferred
- Proficiency with Terraform and Kubernetes, including GKE
- Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
- Experience with security patching and access controls
- Knowledge of Google SRE principles, including error budgets and SLOs
