Responsibilities
- Author and maintain high-quality IaC modules for GCP and AWS services.
- Deploy and maintain foundational networking topology, VPCs, DNS, and IAM primitives.
- Manage the lifecycle of GKE/EKS clusters and compute instances.
- Drive drift detection and remediation with automated scans.
- Maintain observability backends to meet monitoring standards.
- Participate in stress testing and capacity planning.
- Contribute to automation initiatives to reduce operational toil.
- Participate in the infrastructure on-call rotation for incident response.
- Execute vulnerability remediation and security patching.
- Support cloud spend governance by identifying rightsizing opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, SRE, or platform operations.
- Hands-on experience operating infrastructure at scale in GCP and AWS.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), and observability stacks.
- Experience with security patching and access controls.
- Familiarity with Google SRE principles such as error budgets and SLOs.
