Base Salary
$112k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure agent-driven services and systems for autonomous task execution.
- Develop infrastructure and high-throughput APIs for agent memory, communication channels, skills, decision logic, security, and workflow management.
- Integrate agent capabilities with backend services, data stores, vector databases, search and retrieval systems, and external APIs.
- Translate agent use cases into production-ready software with product, research, data engineering, and UX teams.
- Ensure reliability, monitoring, metrics, logging, observability, CI/CD, and fault tolerance for agent components.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and rigorous code reviews.
- Build AI agents that coordinate multi-step actions, reasoning, and autonomous decision-making loops.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience and at least 3 years of production Python experience.
- Daily experience using agentic coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
- Experience building distributed systems, microservices, or complex backend APIs supporting AI or agent workflows.
- Expertise integrating AI models, agent frameworks such as Langraph and Agent Harness, vector databases, and large-context reasoning services.
- Understanding of agent orchestration patterns, state management, and asynchronous workflows.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of performance optimization, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with frontend technologies including React and TypeScript for agent management interfaces.
- Contributions to open-source agent toolkits or SDKs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
