Base Salary
$69k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance software for space-domain ground systems and real-time mission capabilities.
- Modernize legacy applications into microservice-based architectures.
- Write source code for new applications and enhance existing applications and code samples.
- Create solutions to complex problems in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Improve data processing, system communication, performance, resilience, and operational speed.
- Acquire client requirements and optimize workflows through automation.
- Use automated testing tools for software testing and maintenance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience using programming languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
- Experience transitioning legacy applications to a modernized microservice-based architecture.
- Experience creating software solutions for complex problems in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Required TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and eligibility for access to classified information.
- Preferred experience with Linux-based systems, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred experience with C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, Node.js, automated testing tools, and Agile environments.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
- Candidates must complete Booz Allen’s required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold.
