Responsibilities
- Design and discuss solutions for complex technical tasks across the Platform Services team and the wider organization.
- Write and update code in project templates and CI/CD pipelines to support development teams.
- Maintain and evolve cloud infrastructure and platform services across AWS and company datacenters.
- Write and troubleshoot Kubernetes manifest files independently.
- Provide architectural support and mentorship to developers and stakeholders.
- Support service architecture and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience as a software developer and/or architect.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, including the ability to independently write and troubleshoot manifest files.
- Experience with CI/CD and willingness to develop deeper expertise in the area.
- Extensive experience as a Java backend developer in a senior capacity.
- Experience with programming languages beyond Java.
- Interest in service infrastructure, service architecture, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Meaningful experience with several of the listed platform, cloud, development, database, messaging, and observability technologies.
- Comfort speaking and writing in English.
