Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write, design, document, and maintain full-stack code for enterprise applications.
- Develop front-end interfaces with React, HTML5, and CSS and back-end services with Java and related frameworks.
- Engineer cloud-native, event-driven, and microservices-based solutions and develop high-performance APIs.
- Contribute to software architecture, technical standards, design patterns, and broader technical strategy.
- Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for service orchestration.
- Troubleshoot coding, application performance, design, and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Develop and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leadership to deliver sprint goals and manage risks and bottlenecks.
- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and propose AI-informed product approaches.
- Streamline or automate recurring processes across architecture, build, delivery, production operations, and business areas.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience specializing in Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of modern application architecture, data structures, and object-oriented principles using Java.
- Experience with AI tools, microservices, event-driven services, cloud-native application development, and service-oriented architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to develop both front-end and back-end web application components.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, CSS, Java or Python server-side development, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases.
- Experience designing and implementing high-performance APIs and working with GraphQL implementations.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Maven or Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, OpenShift, and related deployment tooling; AWS experience is advantageous.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and JIRA.
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise and code versioning practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively, troubleshoot complex issues, manage risks, and collaborate with stakeholders and technical leadership.
