Base Salary
$107k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Python-based applications and services.
- Optimize Python applications for performance, memory usage, and concurrency.
- Deploy software products into production that can handle large volumes of data at scale.
- Orchestrate solutions within a cloud-based environment using large-scale application design, distributed computing, containers, and service-oriented architectures.
- Deliver reliable Generative AI applications capable of processing information in open-ended settings.
- Collaborate with architecture and engineering stakeholders and distributed team members.
- Validate and verify software components and maintain high attention to detail.
- Mentor junior contributors and help them develop new engineering skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a relevant field.
- More than five years of industrial experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including Python internals, performance tuning, advanced language features, idiomatic coding, and PEP 8 standards.
- Experience deploying scalable software products into production and handling large volumes of data.
- Understanding of large-scale application design, SOA, microservices, distributed computing, containers, and cloud environments.
- Experience delivering production Generative AI applications that reliably process open-ended information.
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, validation, and teamwork skills.
