Base Salary
$60k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and operate scalable, reliable, and resilient full-stack enterprise applications.
- Improve service levels through operational efficiency, incident management, problem management, knowledge sharing, and user training.
- Drive continuous delivery and automation through root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and application improvements.
- Deploy and run services at scale using Docker, Kubernetes, service mesh technologies, middleware, and observability platforms.
- Coach team members and promote engineering best practices, transparency, innovation, and productivity.
- Communicate project progress and status while managing stakeholders across the organization.
- Implement Agile delivery practices using Scrum or Kanban within organizational processes.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in a critical software development role with high business impact.
- Mandatory experience with full-stack Java Enterprise development.
- Strong engineering, senior architecture, debugging, analytical, and software engineering skills.
- Polyglot full-stack development mindset with the ability to learn new languages and skills.
- Working knowledge of computer science concepts including networking, operating systems, virtualization, and containerization.
- Experience with software development lifecycle practices, GitOps, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Operational experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and preferably a service mesh such as Istio.
- Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Desirable experience with middleware technologies such as MQ and Apache Kafka.
- Desirable experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace.
- Experience with senior stakeholder management and clear written and verbal communication.
- A degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related technical subject is desirable.

- Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $135,000, with final compensation dependent on location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
