Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement tools, infrastructure, and pipelines for the ML Platform team.
- Transform proofs of concept into scalable solutions and evolve fielded solutions through continuous model improvement and redeployment.
- Own end-to-end delivery across implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Maintain GPU clusters and develop automation to monitor and improve cluster health.
- Use observability tools to monitor platform health and root-cause problems.
- Profile and optimize ML data, training, and evaluation pipelines.
- Deploy and maintain ML infrastructure in collaboration with the ML Platform team.
- Coordinate work in an agile development process and communicate progress and challenges.
- Mentor and upskill peers and other contributors.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or ML Engineer.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform for scalable ML deployment.
- Experience managing and scheduling GPU clusters with tools such as Slurm or Kueue.
- Experience applying CI/CD practices to ML pipelines.
- Experience with experiment tracking and model or data versioning tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, and DVC.
- Experience building scalable data and ETL pipelines with tools such as Spark and Airflow.
- Experience with data processing, augmentation, and cleaning techniques.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other lean methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Nice-to-have experience with IAP, Tailscale, Shared VPC, NAT, database indexing, connection pooling, TypeScript, Node, full-stack web technologies, edge deployment, OTA model updates, SAM, or Co-Tracker.
